About 20 years ago Mr. Saleem of Zomex Instruments, displayed fine ophthalmic surgical instruments which I found highly satisfactory and since then he has not only improved the quality further but has also produced many excellent original micro-surgical instruments which can surpass any international standard.
In view of his phenomenal skills and excellent performance, I as president of Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan recommended him for Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan’s GOLD MEDAL for extra ordinary achievements which was awarded to him in the OSP annual congress in year 2000. Various regional branches of OSP have also at different occasions awarded him Shields and Merit Certificates of outstanding performance.
